How do I connect?

Create a free SuperProfile account if you don't have one.
In Claude, open SuperProfile in the connector directory and choose Connect. In ChatGPT, add it as an app. Elsewhere, add https://mcp.superprofile.bio/mcp as a remote MCP server.
Sign in to SuperProfile in the window that opens, and choose the permissions, for example creating and editing only, or also publishing.
Ask for what you want. New products and automations start as drafts the assistant shows you first; edits to something already live apply when saved.

Can an assistant change my store without asking?

Only within the permissions you grant. New products and automations start as drafts you can review first, but saving an edit to something already live applies as soon as it is saved: a live product edit needs the publish permission, while an active Auto-DM automation can be changed with the "Save drafts, edit and pause automations" permission alone. Grant that Auto-DM permission carefully: it also lets an assistant change or pause an automation that is already on. Draft/edit, publication, deletion, customer information and email activation are separate permissions, and you choose them when you connect. Buyer checkout, access and downloads stay in the existing SuperProfile flows; nothing is sold inside the chat. You can manage or revoke access any time in Connected agents in your SuperProfile dashboard.

What it does not do

Buyers cannot pay inside the chat: checkout, access and downloads stay on your SuperProfile pages.
Standalone email or WhatsApp broadcasts and newsletters are managed from the dashboard, not the assistant.
It never publishes or deletes without the permission you granted.

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to work with other software. Connecting SuperProfile's MCP server lets your assistant read your store and, with your permission, create and change things in it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the SuperProfile MCP server native or powered by Zapier?

Native. SuperProfile builds and runs its own remote MCP server; no Zapier or other third party is involved. Zapier separately offers its own SuperProfile automations; you do not need Zapier to connect an assistant.

Who can use it, and does it cost extra?

It is available to every SuperProfile creator. Selling needs a paid plan (see the SuperProfile pricing page); the connector itself has no separate price.

Can I use SuperProfile in ChatGPT?

Yes. In ChatGPT, add SuperProfile as a custom app (developer mode, on plans that support it) with the server URL https://mcp.superprofile.bio/mcp and OAuth sign-in. See Connect SuperProfile to ChatGPT.

Can buyers pay inside the chat?

No. Buyer checkout, access and downloads stay in the existing SuperProfile flows; nothing is sold inside the chat. The assistant helps you, the creator, build and run your store.
