What changed in ManyChat's pricing in 2026?

On 2 March 2026 ManyChat moved to plans priced by active contacts, the people your automations talk to each month (ManyChat help). As published in its help centre, read on 17 October 2026:

• Free: 25 active contacts a month, 2 channels, up to 4 live automations, and a “Powered by Manychat” message on first contact (source).
• Essential: $17 a month, or $14 a month billed yearly, for 250 contacts; $0.10 per extra contact on monthly billing. No WhatsApp, SMS or email (source).
• Pro: $39 a month, or $29 billed yearly, for 2,500 contacts, $0.05 per extra contact, with WhatsApp, SMS, email, AI automation and integrations (source).

ManyChat also lists larger Business and Advanced plans for higher contact volumes (ManyChat pricing). Worked example at these rates: 5,000 active contacts in a month on Pro, billed monthly, is $39 + 2,500 × $0.05 = $164 (rates read 17 October 2026).

Which one fits you

SuperProfile: best for creators who sell from the DM

SuperProfile runs Auto-DM on Instagram and Facebook Messenger, through Meta's official API: Auto-DM sends replies and DMs through Meta's official Instagram Graph API and Facebook Graph API (Messenger), with the account connected by Meta login; no password sharing or browser automation. The DM can open the thing you sell: buttons can open one of your published SuperProfile products (payment pages, courses, webinars, 1:1 sessions, Telegram communities, locked content, lead magnets), your store or your referral link. In India you sell through SuperProfile's own checkout (UPI, cards and netbanking) after KYC, without your own payment gateway account. It also handles comments that skip your keyword: per automation, the creator can turn on “Also reply without your keywords” and describe the comment in plain words (for example “asks for the link”); comments that contain no keyword, such as typos, other languages, Hinglish or “pls send”, are read by AI and the DM goes out only when it is confident. Meta Business Suite: the free built-in option

Free. Instant replies, away messages and FAQs, plus, on desktop, up to five keyword replies and a comment-to-message automation for comments with specific hashtags. Keywords must match exactly and a keyword reply waits 15 minutes unless you answer first, which is slow for a “send me the link” Reel (Meta Help).

What should creators in India check before leaving ManyChat?

• Your own subscription can fail on Indian cards. ManyChat's help centre says renewals on cards issued by Indian banks often fail under RBI e-mandate rules, and the account can drop to Free (ManyChat help).
• How buyers pay. ManyChat's Buy Button needs your own Stripe or PayPal (ManyChat help). Indian buyers commonly pay by UPI. On SuperProfile, no payment gateway account needed, only KYC.
• Hinglish comments. Keyword rules miss “link bhejo” and typos. Check whether the tool can read intent; SuperProfile's intent matching is part of paid plans.
