- Linktree's native Digital Products, Bookings and Courses are not available to India-based creators; Stan-managed Stripe accounts exclude India too, and Stan's PayPal route is unverified for India.

- SuperProfile sells in India through UPI, cards and netbanking after KYC on a paid plan; fees are on its pricing page.

The best Linktree alternative depends on whether you want a bio page or a creator store. For a free page of links, Bio Sites, Buffer Start Page, Carrd and Later's link in bio all have free options. For a store behind your link, Beacons and Stan Store are the best-known, and SuperProfile is built for Indian creators who sell with UPI. Below are seven tools plus Linktree for reference, read from their official pages on 13 October 2026. Prices are quoted only where we could read them.

Quick picks
- Just a clean page of links, free: Bio Sites, Buffer Start Page or Carrd.
- A small site with your own domain, cheapest: Carrd (custom domain on Pro Standard).
- A creator store, outside India: Beacons or Stan Store.
- A creator store and Instagram Auto-DM in India, paid in UPI: SuperProfile.
- You already use Later for scheduling: Later's link in bio.
Why do creators leave Linktree?
- The free plan is basic. Free gives unlimited basic links and email and phone sign-ups. Pro lists removing Linktree branding, custom designs and mailing list integrations; Premium lists Instagram auto-replies and AI integrations (Linktree pricing). Prices vary by region and we could not read them reliably, so check the page for your own.
- Country limits on native selling. Linktree's native Digital Products, Bookings and Courses are available only in 35 listed countries, and India is not one of them. Payments run through Stripe. Creators elsewhere can still share free downloads (Linktree help). You can still put an external checkout link on a Linktree page; it is just not Linktree's own checkout.
If you only need a tidy list of links, Linktree remains a fine choice.
How we compared them
We read each tool's own pricing, help or product page on 13 October 2026 and kept the URL for every claim (listed at the end). We did not test the competitor tools hands-on, and "not stated" means the page did not say, not that the feature is missing. We build SuperProfile, so it is listed first and we say where others fit better. The list covers well-known tools, not every link in bio app.
The 7 best Linktree alternatives in 2026
1. SuperProfile: best for Indian creators who sell from Instagram
SuperProfile is a link-in-bio store with the checkout behind it. The free Starter plan includes the link-in-bio store. In India you sell through SuperProfile's own checkout (UPI, cards and netbanking) after KYC, without your own payment gateway account, on a T+1 payout schedule (earnings paid out to your bank account the next day). Selling in India needs a paid plan, and SuperProfile's fees and plan prices are on its pricing page.
Behind the link you can sell digital products (with GST details on invoices), courses, webinars, 1:1 calls and paid Telegram communities. Buyers abroad can pay in 16 currencies while eligible Indian creators are paid in rupees.
Instagram Auto-DM is part of the same account: comments on Reels and Posts can trigger a DM whose buttons open a product, your store or your referral link. The free plan covers posts and Reels with one keyword per automation, and the DM ends with a short "Sent via SuperProfile" line. Meta's messaging windows and rules apply. Stan and Beacons also list Auto-DM style features, so the point is not that this is unique, only that it sits next to UPI checkout.
Limits: selling in India needs a paid plan. We have no verified facts on page design or custom domains to compare, so if design control is your top need, look at Carrd first.
2. Beacons: best free store outside India
Beacons' free plan includes a link in bio, a media kit, unlimited digital products, affiliate links, 50 email sends a month, "Smart Reply IG auto-DM" and analytics, with a 9% seller fee. Creator is $10 a month or $100 a year, still 9%. Creator Plus ($30 a month) and Creator Max ($100 a month) list 0% seller fees (Beacons pricing). Which countries can receive payouts is not stated there, so check before relying on it from India.
3. Stan Store: best paid creator store in Stripe or PayPal countries
Stan puts courses, digital products and bookings inside your link in bio. Its help centre says there is no free plan: Creator is $29 a month or $300 a year and Creator Pro is $99 a month or $948 a year (Stan help: plans). The homepage offers a 14-day free trial (Stan). Creator includes Stan AutoDM for Instagram (Stan AutoDM).
Stan's "0%" is its own transaction fee. Stripe and PayPal charge their own processing fees, which vary by country and payment method (Stan help: fees). Stan-managed Stripe accounts are offered only in a list of countries that does not include India. Stan also supports PayPal in countries where PayPal is available; whether that works for Indian creators is not verified, so check with Stan before you commit (Stan help: countries, updated 28 September 2026). See SuperProfile vs Stan Store.
4. Carrd: best cheap one-page site
Carrd builds "simple, free, fully responsive one-page sites for pretty much anything", so it is a site builder more than a link-in-bio product. Free covers up to three sites. Pro Lite is $9 a year (no Carrd branding), Pro Standard is $19 a year (custom domain, forms, widgets and embeds, analytics) and Pro Plus is $49 a year. Pro forms include payment-enabled forms, and embeds from Stripe, PayPal and Gumroad are supported (Carrd Pro). We did not find built-in product delivery described.
5. Later's link in bio: best if you already use Later
Later's page says you can add up to five links on a post (it names Instagram, TikTok and Snap posts), use custom affiliate links, connect Mailchimp and edit the page's SEO title and description. It does not say which plan has which limit. It also invites you to "get your free link in bio" (Later). Later's scheduling plans list Link in Bio too, from $18.75 a month billed yearly on Starter (Later pricing). We found no checkout described.
6. Bio Sites by Squarespace: best free page from a big brand
Bio Sites says it is "100% free to create and launch", needs no Squarespace subscription and allows as many links as you want. You can sell digital downloads, offer 1:1 appointments, add a tip jar and capture emails and phone numbers, with Stripe or PayPal for payments. One account can hold up to 10 Bio Sites (Bio Sites). Fees and country support for payouts are not stated there.
7. Buffer Start Page: best if you already use Buffer
Start Page offers themes, embeds (videos, products, photos, forms) and click analytics, and says "No credit card needed. Free forever." (Buffer Start Page). Buffer's pricing page says a Start Page counts as a channel towards your plan (Buffer pricing). We found no checkout described.

"Not stated" means we could not find it on that company's own pages. Competitor prices were read on 13 October 2026 and change, so open the source before you pay.
What should Indian creators check?
Three things decide it: can your buyer pay by UPI, can you get paid into an Indian bank account, and what does the plan cost once you add payment fees. Linktree's native selling and Stan's Stripe accounts do not cover India, and the other tools above do not say. On SuperProfile the answer is the checkout described above, with fees and plans on its pricing page. Our guide to selling digital products in India covers the setup.
Hinglish mein: Pehle dekhiye ki buyer UPI se pay kar sakta hai ya nahi, aur paisa bank mein kab aayega. Linktree ka native selling aur Stan ke Stripe accounts India mein supported nahi hain. Sirf links chahiye toh free tools kaafi hain.
How do I switch from Linktree?
- List your links, with the most-clicked first.
- Build the new page and add the top links.
- Test it on your phone, signed out.
- Replace the link in your Instagram, YouTube and TikTok bios and anywhere you pinned the old one.
- Keep the old page live for a few weeks, then close it when clicks stop.
FAQ
What is better than Linktree?
It depends on the job: Bio Sites, Buffer Start Page or Carrd for a free page; Beacons or Stan Store for a store outside India; SuperProfile for selling with UPI in India.
Which is better, Stan or Linktree?
Stan is a paid creator store ($29 a month or $300 a year, no free plan). Linktree is mainly a link page with a free plan. Stan-managed Stripe accounts and Linktree's native selling both leave India out; Stan also offers PayPal where available, which we have not verified for India.
What is a free version of Linktree?
Linktree's own free plan has unlimited basic links. Free alternatives include Bio Sites, Buffer Start Page, Carrd (three sites), Beacons (9% seller fee) and SuperProfile's Starter plan, where selling in India needs a paid plan.
Is Carrd better than Linktree?
Carrd builds one-page sites, with three free. Choose it for design control and a custom domain; choose Linktree for a quick page of links.
Can I sell from my bio in India?
Not with Linktree's native Digital Products, Bookings and Courses, which India-based creators cannot use. You can link to an external checkout, or sell on SuperProfile with UPI, cards and netbanking after KYC on a paid plan.
