ABOUT THE PAGE

115 pages on letters of credit, discrepancies, guarantees and India's export payment rules β€” written for the framework that takes effect on 1 October 2026. Forty worked document checks. Instant PDF download.

Your shipment was perfect. Your paperwork was not.

A garment exporter ships on time, in full, exactly as ordered. Six weeks later he has not been paid. Nothing was wrong with the goods. Everything was wrong with the paper.

That is the most ordinary failure in Indian trade, and this is the handbook for both people caught in it β€” the bank officer with five banking days and eleven documents, and the exporter who cannot understand why an irrevocable credit did not pay him.

Why now. On 1 October 2026 India's export and import payment framework is replaced. The 2026 Regulations supersede the 2015 export regulations, both Master Directions, the 2020 merchanting trade guidelines and 167 circulars. Import payment deadlines become contractual. The caution list becomes an automatic commercial sanction. Self write-off is withdrawn. SOFTEX is abolished.

Every other book on this shelf was written against the old rules.

What you get. 115 A4 pages, 14 chapters, a printable emergency card, a glossary, an FAQ and β€” the part nothing else on this shelf has β€” a back-matter section listing every point where this book found the evidence thin, contested or missing, with the chapter reference and what to ask your bank.

Instant PDF download. Read on any device. No app required.
