I’m Vani Vardannagari, a self-taught artist from Hyderabad. My journey into art wasn’t a planned one—it grew from a deep need for peace. I worked in the IT sector for few years, but despite the stability, something was missing. Art became my refuge, a way to reconnect with myself. Whenever I had free time, I would paint, slowly developing my skills in my own way. What started as a hobby soon became an integral part of my life.
To share my work, I created an Instagram page called mypaintbrushtales. I was inspired by Pichwai art, known for its intricate detail and vibrant storytelling, but I wanted to add my own contemporary touch to it. I focused on fine details and tried to make each piece feel timeless yet fresh.
As time passed, my passion for painting turned into a full-time career. Today, I not only create fine art pieces but also offer customized art and home decor products. What began as a personal journey of expression has grown into mypaintbrushtales, a homegrown brand blending traditional art with sustainable decor. I take pride in offering handcrafted products that elevate spaces, whether it’s a custom painting or a unique decor piece.
I hosted 100+ online/offline workshops and taught 1000+ participants and will continue to spread the joy of art.
