Schedule Instagram trial reels from your calendar
You can now schedule an Instagram Reel as a trial reel. Trial reels are shown to people who don't follow you first, so you can test a new idea before your followers see it.
How to turn it on
In Schedule, create a Reel and tick Trial reel under Reel options. Then choose "I'll share it to followers myself" or "Share automatically if it performs well".
Who can use it
Instagram decides who gets trial reels: a public professional account needs at least 200 followers and must be able to appear in recommendations. If your account doesn't qualify yet, SuperProfile marks the post as failed with a plain message. Nothing is reposted for you: you can duplicate it and schedule it as a normal Reel.
Good to know
Trial reels are for Instagram Reels only, not Stories, photos, carousels, Facebook Page or LinkedIn posts. An AI assistant connected to the SuperProfile MCP server can schedule trial reels too.
